The Difference Between a Clever Trick and a Durable System

The ethical line is not ‘did this require intelligence?’ Intelligence is cheap. The line is authorisation, harm, and whether the work leaves the system more capable of protecting the people inside it.

Study the failure. Understand the system. Build the defence. Create the better alternative. If your insight cannot survive that sequence, it was not a contribution. It was a stunt.
